♫♪♫People making list Buying special gifts It's a time to be kind to one and all It's that time of year When good friends are dear and you wish you could give more than just presents from a store Why don't you give love on Christmas day (on Christmas day) Oh, even the man who has every thing who would be so happy if you would bring him love on Christmas day (on Christmas day) No greater gift is there in love.♫♪♫
Familiar with this song? Nice song isn't it? but do we give love only on Christmas day? There are people who needs love not only on Christmas day.

There are a lot of street children all over the world who needs love.

Orphan who needs care and love and waiting for someone who would adopt them and show them how it's like to have a family and be loved.
When asked what the greatest commandment, Jesus replied "'Love the Lord with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind'. This is the first and greatest commandments. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." So who is our neighbor? In answer with that, Jesus tells the parable of a Good Samaritan
“A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’ “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?” The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.” Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”
Your neighbor which Jesus are saying are those people like the street children, the orphan, your enemy, those people who might had hurt you. Jesus didn't tell us to give love only on his birthday(Christmas day) but everyday we live.

Jesus show His love for us by dying on the cross.
"Greater love has no one than this, that He lay down his life for his friends." That's what true love is all about. It's not given only on Christmas day but everyday of our life, just the way God love us.
